Alke' electric vehicles are increasingly important in the postal and delivery services sector in general. Thanks to their high manoeuvrability and small footprint, they can circulate without restriction in city centres and enclosed spaces alike. Added to this is the absence of noise pollution and a considerable reduction in maintenance costs compared to traditional combustion vehicles. Alke' electric vans have a maximum autonomy of 200 km (with a lithium battery) and can be recharged in 1.5 hours with the rapid charging system. All Alkè electric vehicles are N1-approved for road circulation, with WLTP standard.

There are many models in the Alkè range suitable for postal and delivery use, with load capacities of up to 1,630 kg and towing capacities of up to 4,500 kg (2,000 kg if type-approved). Thanks to their compact dimensions, these minivans can move easily both inside warehouses and through city streets. The configurations used in the postal sector are: minivan with side shutters, which allows easy access to all areas of the box; cargo box vehicle with sliding side doors; tarpaulin van, with the possibility of customising the colour of the tarpaulin.

Management and monitoring of postal vehicle fleets

In particular in the case of vehicle fleets Alke is able to create customised configurations or colours. In addition, Alke' electric trucks can be equipped with a Vehicle Body Computer for fleet management and remote monitoring to anticipate potential anomalies or allow them to be resolved quickly. Usually in the case of postal services there is the need to manage a large number of vehicles, this type of service is essential because with a single click you can see if the Alkè electric vehicles are charging, if they are running, where they are, how much battery they still have available and much more.
