The base is a sturdy chassis with 4WD, ideal for operating on difficult terrain, uneven surfaces and steep slopes. The ATX4 480 can be configured with a tipper body, flat cargo bed, closed van body or special fittings for applications such as maintenance, logistics, construction sites, agriculture and waste collection. Various cab solutions (2 or 4 seats), batteries with different levels of autonomy and numerous accessories are available, including tow hooks, winches and reinforced protections. ATX4 4WD vehicles - Technical specifications and operation
The traction system is based on a rear powertrain with a rigid axle combined with a front powertrain with independent axle shafts, a technical solution that delivers high performance in terms of both traction and vehicle control. The configuration includes two electric motors, one for each axle, managed by two dedicated inverters: a master inverter, associated with the rear powertrain, and a slave inverter, connected to the front powertrain. The all-wheel drive is permanent, therefore always active and cannot be disengaged, ensuring continuous torque, maximum grip and operational safety even on uneven, slippery or steeply sloping surfaces. Another distinctive feature is the intelligent management of the front powertrain, which automatically reduces the rotation speed during steering manoeuvres, significantly improving driveability, manoeuvring precision and driving comfort, especially off-road or in confined spaces. This architecture combines robustness, reliability and advanced dynamic control, making the vehicle particularly effective in the most demanding professional applications.
