Uses of the boom lift

Alke's boom lifts with aerial platform are used for all kinds of elevated work situations in which it is necessary to protect the area from environmental and noise pollution, like, for example, city maintenance of public lighting and street signs or for indoor work. These vehicles are highly valued because, thanks to their compact size, they can be used on the side of roads and on pavements without impeding traffic. They have become a very common type of work vehicle for elevated work that does not take long to complete, as well as for safely reaching dangerous spots, even at considerable heights, for the completion of construction projects, and for preparing safety structures. They are used predominantly for work in public areas and, in particular, for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities. All this while providing high performance in a compact size. Furthermore, Alke's aerial work platforms have the advantage of being approved for road circulation and are often chosen by shopping centres because with a single vehicle it is possible to operate both indoors and outdoors for the replacement of signs and light bulbs and for elevated cleaning.

Boom lift for elevated work situations

The aerial platform can be mounted on model ATX 340EH with a long wheel base (200cm platform). Within the elevating basket the operator finds proportional commands that are easy and intuitive. The emergency commands are found at the base of the equipment. Alke' aerial work platforms are equipped with four stabilizing feet that can be controlled independently for fast and optimal positioning. This set up is suitable for elevated work situations even in the presence of narrow passageways, like, for example, alleyways between buildings, in that Alke' vehicles are very compact.

Bucket truck Alke'

Bucket truck 12 m

The truck-mounted platform is the product of the union between two machines, or rather an electric truck and a piece of equipment known as an aerial work platform. Made up of stabilizers which provide stability when the platform is in use, the movement of the arm is, in fact, prohibited in the event that the stabilizers are retracted. The advantage of this kind of aerial platform is that it can be used both indoors and outdoors, making it possible to perform all elevated operations with a single vehicle.
