Trento: 100% electric vehicle at the wildlife park
Spormaggiore wildlife park (Trento) has decided to take care of its animals using a 100% electric vehicle. The choice fell on the Alkè ATX model with steel mesh sides.
What determined the choice of the Alkè electric vehicle
- High performance even uphill and off-road
- High load capacity: up to 1630 kg per chassis
- 100% electric: ecological and silent
- Extremely compact: only 140 cm wide
Electric vehicle with steel mesh sides for the wildlife park
The Spormaggiore wildlife park (Trento) has chosen an electric Alke ATX vehicle with over sides for park maintenance and animal care. In line with a green vision and to protect the environment in which the park's animals live, the use of a zero-emission, silent vehicle is certainly the best choice. Only a few electric vehicles can reach the woods and difficult mountain trails. The Alkè ATX electric vehicles are the right vehicles for these situations because they have traction comparable to a 4x4, maximum grip on uneven terrain, the maximum gradient achievable at 35%, and a powerful motor with high torque. This has convinced the Spormaggiore nature park (Trento), which uses Alke' vehicles for daily activities with animals and park maintenance.
Electric vehicles for mountain maintenance activities
The fact that the Spormaggiore wildlife park chose an Alkè vehicle once again demonstrates the capabilities of these vehicles. Alkè electric vehicles have high performance even in the mountains. They can overcome climbs of up to 35% and have a performance comparable to off-road vehicles in the same category. They are all road-legal in case you need to use them off-road. Another advantage of these vehicles is certainly the possibility of using them during the day without disturbing the park's guests. In the tourism sector, one of the aspects that leads to the purchase of electric vehicles is precisely the fact that they can be used without disturbing visitors.
Sustainable tourism with Alkè electric vehicles
Zero-emission mobility is not only an urban phenomenon, it is also an important aspect for nature parks. In parks it has become increasingly necessary to move people (both guests and staff) in a sustainable way. Both to respect the environment and to avoid disturbing the fauna. Alkè electric vehicles also have very high performance and a construction quality that other ecological vehicles do not have. This is why they are chosen in the tourism sector for maintenance and facility management activities, which sometimes require intensive use.
