Can Alkè electric vehicles exceed steep slopes?
electric vehicles slope

The electric vehicles Alkè are able to exceed steep slopes, around 30% (35-40% with RID version engine). This truly remarkable result is possible because these electric vehicles have separate excitation engines with a power of 6kW and peak of 17.5-20kW to allow operations even in the presence of uneven land.
This energy is taken from traction batteries which are on board and that supply energy to the electric engine. The complete re-charge of the battery set, normally carried out during the night, takes place using the high frequency battery-charger present on the machine, this means it can be connected anywhere there is a common 220V socket.  Alkè electric cars can be defined as multifunction transporters because are generally used for many applications: electric vehicles for good transport, waste collecting vehicles both in private and public areas, electric vehicles for resorts and tourist villages, professional electric cars.
To understand what is the slope percentage of one road or one hill you can just apply this simple method.
